kristen hill

Kristen joined the Johnson Braund team in October 2026. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of North Texas in 2017. She moved to Seattle in 2023. Guided by her Christian faith, Kristen brings a people-first perspective to work, backed by years of experience designing over 60 hotel projects ranging from middle-line to award-winning, luxury resorts. She also brings a unique, creative experience to the team, having helped create partial sets for two Netflix films, including Don't Look Up. Kristen’s love for the hospitality industry was driven by her personal passion for travel. She loves balancing the technical sides of design with space planning and an exceptional attention to detail.

When she isn't designing, Kristen is always up for an adventure and loves anything athletic or outdoors, including hiking, rock climbing, running marathons, and fishing. She also loves cooking and baking.

Fun fact: Kristen is a semi-talented singer, but she considers her true talent to be providing comedic commentary on just about anything and unfortunately, there’s no off switch for either.
