PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The $14.5 million Courtyard by Marriott hotel is strategically located in the downtown Tacoma core, directly across the street from the Tacoma Convention and Trade Center.  This 6-story, 153 room mixed-use facility includes four levels of hotel guest rooms, one level of public space and 18,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, office and bank space at street level.  The amenity package includes over 7,000 square feet of meeting and conference facilities, indoor swimming pool and spa, exercise room, business library and spacious lounge and lobby areas.  Hotel entrances on Pacific and Commerce Streets are connected with a grand stair case and interior courtyard.  Additional features of this facility are the renovated and historic Waddell Building,connected on the north end of the hotel, and a new urban park located at the south end of the site.
