Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Brendan graduated from the University of Arkansas: Fay Jones School of Architecture in 2016 with a Bachelors in Architecture from their professional program. In school he developed a passion for sustainable design, specifically in urban contexts. After graduation he moved to Philadelphia in order to gain experience working in urban environments. 2 years of big city living, and many rowhouse projects later, he decided to move back to warmer climes and landed in Nashville with Johnson Braund. Outside of work Brendan is an outdoorsman, avid reader and autodidact.
Brendan never could fit into any one box. A blue chip linebacker recruit in high school (who took watercolor classes with his mom), he initially began his college career playing football at the University of Tulsa, later transferring to Sewanee: The University of the South to pursue a double major in English and Economics, before discovering his one true love: architecture.
Fun fact: Brendan came in second as a kid in the Woodward County Rodeo in Mutton-busting.
